Who use us?
Realism That Makes the Difference
For decades, we’ve worked with every kind of emergency service and countless private companies. From first aid and pre-hospital care to medical and rescue training in remote, industrial, and even hostile environments — we help make training truly effective.
The organisations we work with are often amazed by the impact of our simulated casualties. The realism of our makeup and acting is as close as it gets to a real emergency. In fact, many trainers tell us that during exercises, their teams forget it’s a simulation — and feel the same adrenaline rush they would in a real incident.
By taking training out of the classroom and into realistic scenarios, we give trainees the chance to apply their knowledge and skills in a safe, yet challenging environment. This is where confidence grows and life-saving skills really stick.

Why use us?
Why Realism Matters
Handling realistic injuries is one of the most effective ways to prepare your team. It helps them practice not only technical skills but also calm, productive responses in challenging situations.
Casualties Union are specialists in casualty simulation services, creating lifelike scenarios for every environment — indoors, urban, remote, industrial, or even hostile settings. Our expertise goes beyond makeup. We choreograph complete training exercises and provide valuable feedback during and after the event to ensure your staff learn as much as possible.
What We Offer
-
Professional Casualty Simulation – realistic acting and makeup to replicate injuries and illnesses.
-
High-Quality Moulage & Prosthetics – for the most convincing injuries.
-
Authentic Roleplay – members respond appropriately to careful or clumsy handling during the scenario.
-
Constructive Feedback – during the exercise and in post-event debriefs, with practical tips for improvement.
Whether you’re training for rescue, communication skills, diagnosis, treatment, patient transport, or hospital care, we create scenarios that bring your training to life — making it more memorable, more effective, and ultimately safer for the people you serve.
Our Purpose
Everything we do supports our official charitable aim:
“To advance for the public benefit education and training in first aid, the treatment of illness, nursing, rescue, accident prevention, care in the community and similar activities, particularly through casualty simulation.”
That means we cannot provide our services for entertainment purposes or events such as Halloween.
Professional and Covered
All of our members are covered by Public Liability and Personal Accident insurance policies, giving you complete peace of mind.

-
An outline of what you’d like us to do during the exercise
As a charity, we charge a fee to cover our costs and support our work. For some organizations, such as other charities, we may be able to offer our services free of charge.
Whether you’re planning a small first aid competition or a major emergency scenario, we can make it as realistic and valuable as possible.
